Home Office
Through combining various technologies, it is now possible
to control many of the appliances in and around your home
or office. Once thought to be "boys toys" and impractical
or expensive equipment, they now are an asset to property
owners in increasing property value and features. CDC's head
office features many of these remote applications.
As an example … 6:30am dial into the central
heating to turn it on for one hour as there is an early meeting
at 7:30am, whilst en route to office, a delivery arrives early
and cannot access store yard. Simply dial into electric gates
and open them for delivery van. These calls can be made from
any phone, anywhere. And lasts no more than 10 to 15 seconds.
Example 2 … having been on a day out shopping
with kids ,who are most probably cold and tired , the heating
timer wont be on for an hour and its typical Irish weather
... wet and windy ... dial into house and turn on heating,
and outside lights for security. Arrive home knowing that
the house is warm and safe and its thankfully their bed time
now .
Central heating, electric gates, Internal or external lighting,
are but a few of the possibilities that can be controlled
via phone, as an external call, or internally through a small
telephone system and X-10 technology.
